Wedgwood Victorian Flow Blue Plate Castle Scene Figures c.1880-1900
$80.00
A classic Victorian-era treasure. The deep cobalt blue transferware has the signature “flowed” edge blurring, surrounded by intricate floral and scroll borders on a lightly scalloped rim. Backstamp reads “Thomas M. Wedgwood,” (c.1880-1900), made during the peak of flow blue popularity by Staffordshire potters like Wedgwood affiliates.
Approximately 9” in diameter
Good antique condition with characterful wear: allover crazing, surface scratches, and a visible hairline crack/stress line near the castle figure (see close-up photos — no chips or major repairs). Minor white spot (possible kiln dust inclusion) and expected age patina on the base. Sturdy for display; not for food use.
