A beautifully preserved and rare 1950s Snakes & Ladders game by Galt Toys, featuring one of the most charming mid-century illustrated box designs you’ll come across. Pieces like this are increasingly difficult to find — especially complete and with artwork this decorative.
The standout feature is the vibrant floral box lid, illustrated in a whimsical storybook style with children, flowers, and soft pastoral details. It’s a wonderful example of mid-century children’s illustration and makes a striking display piece for a nursery, playroom, or vintage-inspired interior.
Inside, the folding game board continues the charm with a classic Snakes & Ladders layout, complete with richly detailed ladders, winding snakes, and nature-inspired motifs. This set works equally well as a playable game or as a collectible decorative object.
